Wilson parking 免费停车罚款陷阱

今天到NEW MARKET warehouse 购物， 停车场上收费说明半小时内免费。如果是1个小时就收$2.00。 我要逛商场所以就交了钱停一个小时，后来时间快到了而我又没有决定要不要到warehouse买个帐篷，因此在时间还差3分钟的时候去续了半个小时免费的那种停车单。哪知道10分钟后从warehouse出来罚单$65已经挂在车窗上了。罚款的人还在现场。我去跟他说明情况，他说根据公司规定就是这样的。除非我把车开出停车场，再停回来才可以免费。发这个帖子就是想告诉大家这个Wilson 的免费停车的陷阱。貌似当时还有其他华人也同样中招了。希望大家注意！！！！

呃。。这样真的不行的吧。。。。

以前在mall里的时候就算挪车都要开罚单的说。。。
你连车都不想挪人家的policy不就是废纸嘛。。。

如果换过来，我免费停了半个小时，然后就开始缴费付钱停1个小时。我是不是照样要收到罚款呢？

Be very careful of Wilson Carparks!!
10 minutes late back (no grace period) I received a $65 fine.
I appealed the fine online, but didn't trust the screen when on the Wilson's website, when it said words to the effect "While your appeal is proceeding your case is on hold".
I took a photo of the screen as insurance, fearing the worst from this rogue outfit!
Two weeks later I had been slapped with another $20 for an unpaid fine of $65.
I called but was told there was no record of my appeal?
I emailed the photo as a rebuttal protesting that I had in fact lodged an appeal.
That was then accepted, just to be contacted a week later saying my original fine stands and the appeal denied - and my reason for being overtime was legit - I should have won the appeal.

I believe they are in business to deal out fines and that is how they make a majority of revenue, not from parking fees but fines!!

I never use Wilson's car parks now and avoid - like the plague!

Wilson car parks are nothing but evil. Three situations - one being working for a company that had no carparks for staff unless you paid the business $25-$75 a week for a spot (2 year waiting list though) free carparks were half n hour walk away. The rest - Wilson carparks. The ONLY machine in the carpark was faulty, so not my problem (but apparently it's at my cost cause it's not their problem either) $65 for not ticket displayed. Then the day after, Wilson contractors are out fixing the machine, I to pay and I am told "the machine is down, go park you won't be fined until the machine is fixed". Resulted in 1 week of parking for free, however on the 8th day every received tickets for not paying even though there was no bloody machine. The second instance being Wilson carparks not displaying signs for those who can't see like one with magnifying glasses as eyes. But they are happy to say that outside the movie theatre you are not to park longer than 2 hours - $50 ticket and also a photo of the sign seen from my vehicle in which you can't even read in the photo. So they were nice enough to also include a photo that was taken right next to the post so I could read word for word. Bloody pricks I tell ya. The last is outside a hospital (for certain procedures) I had a laparoscopy and couldn't walk far or fast. But the nearest carparks were a 20 min walk (honestly not doable for someone coming off anaesthesia with two wounds in her stomach) partner parks outside hospital for literally two minutes to comes wheel me out and get me in the car. TWO MINUTES! And we get a ticket. We email to dispute with out sob story of how I've been cut open and can't walk and they should provide special acceptances for the situation in which they couldn't give two flying f's.

NEW MARKET旁边有个露天停车场，周末一天也就2块。

我打电话去质问他们说，如果我先免费停半个小时，然后再交钱继续停，是不是要先开离停车场。他们的商务代表说不用。然后我问她，那我先交钱停1个小时，然后再停那个免费半个小时有什么不同。她回答说原本2块钱一个小时是含了半小时的免费的。我立即无语了。
